A Map of the Road Trip in "Riding the Doghouse"

This map depicts the journey of the characters in "Riding the Doghouse". The descriptions of the places along the trip are written in the perespective of the main character remembering the trip he took with his dad. There are four spots pin-pointed along the journey, the first being the narrator's childhood home. The second destination that is pin-pointed is the Delaware Water Gap mountains that are described in the short story. The third location is the gas station that they stop at and the first place the the narrator messes with his dad's CB radio and has a creepy encounter with Midnight. The fourth and final destiniation pin-pointed on the map is Grand Rapids, Michagan which was the last place the characters stopped before they began their journey home.
