Word Cloud for "The Bees"

I chose to create a word cloud for "The Bees". The shape I picked for the word cloud was a circle because in the story, Gene has "come full circle, has come exaclty to the point when his former life with Mandy and his son DJ has completely fallen apart". I chose a color scheme that was dark and had a lot of red in it because when I think of horror stories, I think of the color red to represent death and blodd. The word "nightmares" is in big, red letters because nightmares were a reacurring theme throughout the story. Frankie had nightmares that caused him to wake up sreaming and Gene was basically living in his own nightmare. "DJ" pops up a lot in the word cloud just like he kept popping up in Gene's mind and he couldn't get him out of his head. "Haunted" is another word that appears a lot and is in big print print because the main conflict in this story is that gene is haunted by his past family and he's also haunted by the idea of destroying his new family.

I word I didn't include in the word cloud that was important to the story was "father". I didn't include this word becaus in the beggining of the story, Gene seems like a perfect father but throughout the story the image of him being a caring father disapears. I also didn't include any of the wives names because they didn't seem to be very importatn to Gene or else he would have actually cared about them and been a good husband.
